Pigeon grit

Pigeon grit is a complete mineral grit especially formulated for pigeons. Pigeon grit is a supplement to the usual feed and meets the need for extra calcium, stomach grit and minerals.

We have various perfectly balanced grit mixtures that meet the need for extra calcium, stomach grit and minerals. The different nutrients contribute to optimal digestion. The effectiveness of the uptake of nutrients is strengthened by stimulating the grinding action. Our pigeon grit gives pigeons the nutrients they need, such as minerals and trace elements. This strengthens the development of muscles and bones. Our pigeon grit provides pigeons with everything they need for good, healthy growth and top performance.

Products
We stock three standard pigeon grit mixtures:

Pigeon grit 1

A mixture of marine shell grit, oyster grit, redstone, stomach grit and charcoal. The purified charcoal promotes good digestion and absorbs any toxic substances in the intestines. The pigeon absorbs this according to its needs.

Pigeon grit 3

A mixture of marine shell grit oyster grit, redstone, stomach grit and aniseed. This mixture contains aniseed due to its pleasant odour.

Pigeon grit 5

A mixture of marine shell grit, oyster grit, redstone, stomach grit and aniseed. This mixture contains extra redstone. Redstone has abundant minerals and trace elements. Giving extra redstone can be a good idea, especially during the hen’s laying period. This mixture also has added aniseed.

We make all our mixtures using a 2 – 5 mm sieve. Our pigeon grit is a quality product and is produced, fired, purified and sieved under strict conditions.
